SLP DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARD

The St. Louis Park Distinguished Alumni Awards committee is taking nominations for their annual award, to be presented at graduation. Nominees must have been Park students, but not necessarily graduates of Park High. Previous awardees are Thomas Friedman, journalist at the New York Times (Class of 1971), Sharon Isbin, Grammy-winning musician and head of the guitar department at Julliard (Class of 1974); and Dr. Gregory Hedberg, curator, professor, and art historian (Class of 1964). The committee is especially interested in getting nominations from distinguished Park alumni in the math and science fields.
