3887 WOODDALE AVENUE

The building at 3887 Wooddale was one of four owned by Frank Theros, the owner of Lilac Way Shopping Center. It was built in 1952 at a cost of $18,000 as a warehouse for the Minneapolis Iron Store. Subsequent tenants included:

1965-66: The General Trading Co.

1967-68: Koval’s Furniture

1968-69: The Bill Carlson Electric Co.

1970-71: Brookside Builders.

The building was demolished in June 1984, presumably in conjunction with the Lilac Way redevelopment.
