FRED W. SUGDEN

Fred W. Sugden served as the Mayor of St. Louis Park from 1906 to 1908, and again in 1910 until he moved out of the Village on December 10, 1910.  He was born in about 1867 in Minnesota - his father was from England and his mother from France (or French Canada). The 1910 census shows him living in St. Louis Park with wife Neva A. and children Veva M (age 9), Ione E (age 7), Frank R. (age 6), Flossie M. (age 5), Fred E (age 3) and Iowa B. (age 1).  (Census handwriting is difficult to read so these may not be their real names.)  Fred W.'s occupation is listed as superintendent of a grain elevator.
