Dr. & Mrs. Elias E. Hidalgo are the
Founders and Directors of Shalom Scripture Studies, Inc.
They moved to the Twin Cities in March 1986 and were located
in Minneapolis on Hennepin Ave. for a couple of years. After
a couple of other locations, in March 1990 they moved to
their present location at 6524 Walker Street.
From their web site:
The birth of Shalom Scripture Studies, Inc. took
place on May the 30th, 1974, in the city of Orange,
California. It was here that Dr. Elias E. Hidalgo
established a place of worship for Jewish and Gentile
people. Here, Jewish and Gentile believers could gather
together to worship The LORD GOD of Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob, and here, non-believers could learn that Y'SHUA
(JESUS) is LORD.
When Dr. Hidalgo began Shalom Scripture Studies over two
decades ago, there were but a handful of congregations
of this sort. Yet, since then, the proliferation of
Hebrew-Christian (and "Messianic") ministries has been
phenomenal. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
Shalom Scripture Studies, Inc. has experienced growth
through many trials and triumphs over the years. In both
cases, it has been a place of rest and learning for
literally several thousands of people in California,
Oregon, Washington, Minnesota, Georgia, and Florida.
Mrs. Ari D. Hidalgo, Th.B., began her full-time work
with Shalom Scripture Studies, Inc. in 1979. She has
been a great blessing to the founder, as well as to
hundreds of ladies that she has taught over these many
years. Rev. Nathan Knibb has also been a faithful friend
and associate of Dr. and Mrs. Hidalgo for many years.
In July of 1996, Dr. and Mrs. Hidalgo relocated the
headquarters of Shalom Scripture Studies, Inc. to
Savannah, Georgia. One of the oldest Jewish communities
in the United States is in Savannah, Georgia, and Shalom
Scripture Studies is the first viable Hebrew-Christian
witness to them. The missionary work located in
Minneapolis, MN continues under the leadership of Rev.
Nathan Knibb.
Rev. Molloy is now in the process of expanding Shalom
Scripture Studies in Naples, Florida. Truly, the LORD is
blessing us abundantly above our hopes and expectations
for He is our exceedingly great reward.
