is part of the Belt Line Industrial Park.
Information is a little sketchy; much is taken from
handwritten notes at the tax assessor's office. Also addresses
have changed over the years. nsa means "no such address."
3245 Raleigh - nsa. From at least 1964 to 1986, this was the
address of Maid of Scandinavia, mail order and retail
distributors of cake decorating equipment and unusual
cookware. Mark S. Dalquist was president. In
1964 there were 70-80 employees and in 1971 there were 160
employees. This company was part of Northland
Aluminum at the time. Maid of Scandinavia became Sweet
Celebrations, and closed in November 2008. This
building was actually on the
Nordic Ware campus.
3501 Raleigh - built 1959
1959-71: A.S. Aloe Co. - manufactured and distributed
hospital, laboratory and physicians' equipment and supplies.
Division of Brunswick Corp. In 1964 it had 60
employees; in 1971 it had 25. R.A. Findorff was
operations manager in 1971.

3501 Raleigh, 1959
3509 Raleigh - built in 1960, its first tenant was
the FaFner Bearing Co. Since 1989 it has been Quality
Insulation, owned by Jon Edwards.
3525 Raleigh - nsa. In 1964 this was the Thomas Co.,
Wendell B. Thomas, owner. The company made chains for
heavy equipment and sold lubricants for graders, etc.
It had 14 employees.
3529 Raleigh - built 1962. In 1964-71 this was the home
of Bell & Howell Company Micro-Data Division, which provided
microfilm systems for banks, retail stores, wholesalers,
hospitals, manufacturers, insurance companies and government
agencies. Edward F. Simonds was the regional manager
in 1964 (9 employees). In 1971, Ross Babcock was the
regional manager (15 employees).
