PARK SHORE SENIOR CAMPUS

The Park Shores Senior Campus consists of three buildings:

3663 Park Center Blvd. is Parkshore Place Senior Independent Apartments, built in 1987. The 13-floor, 207-unit senior rental building, commonly known as Park Shores, opened in March 1988. 20 different floor plans were offered, with rents starting at $595 per month. The complex offered services geared to senior needs, such as 24-hour security, an emergency team in the building, van transportation, an activities director, a dining room with one meal a day included in the rent, commons area with workshop and craft area, barber and beauty shops, exercise room, whirlpool, and guest rooms.

3633 Park Center Blvd.is Parkwood Shores, an assisted living apartment building built in 1998.

3601 Park Center Blvd. is an office building (Formerly Norwest Bank) built in 1987.  It is owned by SilverCrest, owners of the Parkshore senior campus as well as other senior complexes. The building now houses the management staff of SilverCrest properties and some other company offices. SilverCrest has plans to tear down 3601 and build a 13 story condo. The original proposal was for Senior condos but SilverCrest has proposed a modification to change it to general occupancy. There is some disagreement with the City and the project is on hold at the present time.
