Below is a listing of
the oldest (1874-1911) homes and other buildings in St. Louis Park. Information on year built
was provided by the City Tax Assessor's Office and is also
available on the
Hennepin County Property Information database.
This data may not always be correct; if you have better
information, from an abstract, etc., please
contact us.
To interpret the information below, be sure to visit our
Historic Buildings and Houses page, where you will find
entries for the Brick Block, Monitor Houses, and Walker
Houses. Also know that we suspect that many of these houses are not in
their original locations. Those we know have been
moved to their present location are marked with an asterisk.
In the year 2000, members of the Historical Society took
photographs of most of the buildings that were built up to 1909. These pictures
are in an album at the Historical Society space at Lenox,
and are available to view during office hours or by
appointment.
For other pictures, note that the tax assessor took
citywide photographs in 1954-55 and again in 1960.
Those photos and others are kept on the 3rd floor of City
Hall and are available for viewing.
