6325 MINNETONKA BLVD.

This building may go back to 1940 (says the City), or it may go back to 1894.  Here is the smattering that we know:

1934-1937:  Park Manor Grocery/Jackson's Grocery and Meats - cold meats - beer on sale - Barnsdall gas.  R.M. Jackson, proprietor

1934

1939-1947:  Moscrip's Grocery and Meats/S&W Fine Foods.  Standard gas service in 1939, Mobil gas in 1945.

1952:  $8,000 addition, Henry E. Kent (built by Paul Boline):  Kent's Big Ten Food Store

1956:  Dwelling and store - Bee Line Diner

Reader Marv, Class of '58, remembers that in the 1950s, the building was the Park Drug store before it moved to the corner of Lake Street and Dakota, across from McDonald's.  You had to walk up stairs to enter.

1957:  Beek's Pizza
