7003 LAKE STREET

This was originally the site of National Lead, which polluted the soil.

Then it belonged to Golden Auto Parts, which further polluted the soil.

Most structures were removed in 1981.

It was covered over and used for a parking lot.  One building was used for a pawn shop.

The soil was remediated with the help of Federal Superfunds, and the remaining structures were removed in 2006.

The Highway 7 Corporate Center opened in 2007.
