7000   LAKE STREET

This gas station, located at Lake and Highway 7, goes back to about 1952 when it was the (George) Butler and Holmberg Direct Service station.  It was still a DS station in 1969, and had five pumps.

This picture is from 1960.

The station was demolished in May 1966 - at the time it was Nutter's Shell.

In 1970, Paul Haase ran Park Seven Shell, and in 1975 it was called Sunset Shell.

The current building was built in 1981 for Holiday.
