Comedian, political commentator, author, and U.S. Senator, Al Franken is one of St. Louis Park’s most visible and accomplished former residents.

Al was born in 1951 in New York, and his family moved to Albert Lea before landing in St. Louis Park.  He attended St. Louis Park schools from Kindergarten to tenth grade, Blake School, and is a graduate of Harvard College.

While growing up in Minnesota, Al and his family lived at 7931 W. 25th Street in St. Louis Park.
