ARNE FOGEL

St. Louis Park resident Arne Fogel is a one-man entertainment industry. He can be heard on hundreds of radio and TV jingles, appears in TV commercials, hosts radio programs, and can be seen at singing engagements around town.

Arne’s entre into the business came in 1968 when he was paid $5 to sing background on a record session. While studying speech and theater education at the University of Minnesota in 1969 he sang a jingle for Dayton’s. More jingles financed his degree. In the 1970’s, he worked at KUXL, playing old time music. Other stations include WWTC, KBEM, KLBB, and Minnesota Public Radio.
