BUFFALO WILD WINGS

Buffalo Wild Wings was started in 1982 by Scott Lowery and Jim Disbrow, who couldn't find the Buffalo, NY-style chicken wings in Ohio.  In the mid-1990s, they moved the company to St. Louis Park, on Utica Ave. near Highway 100 and Interstate 394, an area now known as the West End.  In 2008, the company moved to larger quarters along Wayzata Blvd. in Golden Valley.  Although the company opened its 800th store in November 2011, as of that time there was not a retail outlet in the Park.
